Use of Google Analytics

(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” text files which are saved on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of this website. As a rule, the information which the cookie creates regarding your use of this website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. However, in the event that IP anonymization has been activated on this website, Google will previously shorten your IP address within member states of the European Union or other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will your full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information in order to evaluate your use of this website, to compile reports regarding your website activities and to provide further services for the website operator associated with your use of its website and the Internet.

The IP address which your browser provides to Google Analytics will not be pooled with other Google data.

You may prevent storage of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all of the functions on this website. You may also prevent the registration of the data created by the cookie and relating to your use of this website (incl. your IP address) for Google and Google’s processing of these data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in which is available via the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Where applicable, IP addresses are processed in shortened form, which means that they cannot be associated with specific persons. In the event that personally identifiable information were to arise through the data collected about you, this would therefore be eliminated immediately and these personal data would thus be promptly deleted.

We use Google Analytics in order to analyze use of our website and to make regular improvements. The statistics which we thus obtain enable us to improve our website and to make it more attractive for you as a user. The basis in law for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 (1) Clause 1f GDPR.

Overview of data protection: http://www.google.com/intl/en/analytics/learn/privacy.html , and data privacy statement: http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy.

In some cases this website also uses Google Analytics for cross-device analysis of visitor flows.

Use of Google Adwords Conversion

We utilize Google Adwords services to promote our attractive products and services through advertisements (so-called “Google Adwords”) displayed on external websites. By comparing data from our advertising campaigns, we can determine the success level of individual advertising measures. Our goal is to show you ads that interest you, increase your engagement with our website, and ensure fair advertising costs.

Google delivers these ads via “ad servers.” For this purpose, we use ad server cookies that enable the evaluation of specific performance metrics, such as the frequency of ad displays and the number of user clicks. If you access our website by clicking on a Google ad, Google Adwords will save a cookie on your PC. These cookies typically expire after 30 days and are not intended to personally identify you. For analysis, the cookie will save a unique cookie ID, the number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), the most recent impression (relevant for post-view conversions), and opt-out information (indicating that the user prefers no further contact).

These cookies enable Google to identify your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an Adwords customer’s website and the cookie saved on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can determine that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to the page. Each Adwords customer is assigned a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked across Adwords customers’ websites. We do not collect or process any personal data in connection with these advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google, which help us identify the effectiveness of our advertising measures. We do not receive any further data related to ad usage and cannot identify users based on this information.

Due to the marketing tools we use, your browser will automatically establish a direct connection to Google’s server. We do not have control over the scope or further use of the data that Google collects through this tool. Our knowledge is based on the information available to us: the integration of Adwords Conversion means that Google is informed that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can associate your visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or logged in, Google may still be able to identify and save your IP address.

You can prevent your inclusion in this tracking process in several ways:

a) By configuring your browser settings accordingly. In particular, rejecting third-party cookies will prevent you from receiving ads from third-party providers.

b) By deactivating cookies for conversion tracking through your browser settings to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com,” https://www.google.de/settings/ads. However, this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies.

c) By permanently deactivating it in your Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome browser via the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Please note that you may not be able to use all functions of this website if you do this.

The legal basis for processing your data is Art. 6 (1) Clause 1f GDPR. Further information on data privacy at Google can be found here: http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy and https://services.google.com/sitestats/en.html. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

If you have given us consent to process your data, you may revoke this consent at any time. Once you notify us of your revocation, it will affect the permissibility of processing your personal data.

If we process your personal data based on a balancing of interests, you may object to such processing. This applies particularly where processing is not necessary for the fulfillment of a contract with you, which we will indicate in the description of the respective functions below. When exercising your right to object, please explain why we should no longer process your personal data in this manner. If your objection is legitimate, we will review the situation and either cease processing your data, modify our processing, or provide you with compelling legitimate grounds for continuing to process your data.

You can, of course, object to the processing of your personal data for advertising and data analysis purposes at any time. You can notify us of your objection to advertising by contacting us vis email: info@o2o-insights.com.
